About this deal

Have heard some people say it stopped leaks whilst car was stationery but everyone got different results. So after trying it on my gear box I have bought another bottle to pour into my engine as well and now I can really feel that my engine become very smooth with less vibration and much more quiet then before. The best thing to do with rubber suspension bushings is leave them alone and when worn out replace them, that's it. Put 1 bottle in the rear end differential so attempt to stop a very minor leak around the pinion seal. I cannot tell for sure, but it seems the slow leak is gone, but I also replace a few 1/2” cooling system hoses that were leaking.

I can now shift into reverse gear almost instantly where I have not been able to do so for a long time. We had a leak on our delica and my husband comes from a family of mechanics, he and his brother could not find where the leak was coming from they tried for 2 straight days to find the leak. The differential fluid literally pouring out around the seal so bad that the yoke which is attached to the drive shaft was slinging the oil all over. I recently purchases mine used and it had a power steering leak and the usual o-ring leak behind the alternator bracket both of which stopped leaking in less than a week. I realise there's no substitute for replacing a faulty or worn seal, however as a 'quick fix', is this stuff any good?I pulled out the o-rings and kind of wiped them with the solution a few times and let it soak in a little bit and put them back in. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I did an oil change just before application as I was due for one so this chemical will stay in my engine for at least 6 to 8 thousand kms. PAO has lower Noack Volatilty(Noack Rest determines a lube's evap loss at high temps) than the mineral based lower groups.

I did see a video of scotty kilmer recommending using atp 205 reseal on rubber suspension parts as preventative maintenance; if rubber suspension parts can get maintenance, what would make the rubber engine seals not warrant maintenenace? Compatible with conventional and synthetic oils, ATF, gear oil, power steering fluids and hydraulic oil. So I know this was a while back, but I'm wondering what eventually happened with your use of the AT-205? My gear box condition was getting bad to worst worst where I can’t engage in forward once a while and constantly unable to engage in reverse gear. Guess you already took care of your problem but I was reading from a mechanic if one bottle doesn't do the trick, add another bottle to the next oil change.ATP AT-205 - seems like a good idea but it didn't work for me - that doesn't mean it won't work for you, I just thought I had nothing to lose - the leak is still there and about the same as it was before I used it - there is no promise that this will work - it even says on the bottle, it it still leaks after 5 hours of use, you should seek out a professional auto tech. Hopefully, this will continue to work for another 100,000 miles of driving or till I get another car. The cause of the leak was the 2 bolts that go from the oil pan into the plate which holds the rear main seal. was on a power steering pump that was leaking badly, thought I would give this stuff a try, guess what?
