Also Indy’s character was one I resonate with SO MUCH. I love how her vulnerabilities and emotions were presented in this book. She wore her heart on her sleeve and had the most genuinely pure soul. I adore her and resonate with her always doing the most for everyone else without realizing she never puts herself first. That was until she met Ryan, of course :).

Make her iced coffee everyday! By putting the coffee in the fridge so when she gets up it’s cold and doesn’t have to water it down with ice.

Indy was such a wonderful heroine, i am the President of the Indy Defence Team. get behind me, girl, ily<3 she broke my heart but also made me feel so much hope and joy. she was funny and sweet, self-sacrificing and painfully loyal. i loved her journey here just as much as i adored the romance. while Ryan’s love for her was my fave part of the book, Indy’s journey to self-discovery, self-love and independence may have stolen the show for me? she was my typa girl. Absolutely love the chemistry of Ryan and Indy. If I thought that Stevie and Zanders’ banter was great—Ryan and Indy’s is top tier 😆 I love the sarcastic remarks they have for each other and the overall energy this two emits when they’re together. Everything about this two is *chef’s kiss* 🤌 Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide.

Maybe it's acts of service. That could be your love language. Every morning you make sure my coffee is cold, so it doesn't get watered down when I add ice. I've always noticed that." IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS!!!!!Ryan Shay is most definitely one of my top book boyfriends. There’s not even a question about that. His quiet love, from the ice coffees in the fridge to learning sign language absolutely swept me. I am so far gone for this man. the fake dating: now to the best part- I’m being very biased rn and don’t know what else to say but yes IT. WAS. PERFECT. The tension, the jealousy, all the secret moments- I’m sorry Zanders but Ryan Shay has now beaten you and is standing at the top of my favourite characters in this series 🙈 Absolutely loved the dynamics and friendships in the book! And witnessing how Rayan tried to be a better captain; working on his trust issues and the recluse persona he painted himself with years ago. It was tightly related to the sequelae that came with his previous dating life. Funny ‘cause at the begging Indigo was as convinced as him that she would never fall in love again. That was so ironic because the two of them thought they were so different as one a ray of sunshine with a tendency to be messy and the other a permanent grumpy maniac. Yet, they were dealing with the same issues and it was one of the major parts that made them a perfect match, meant to be. Both understood the traumas and bagages that came with their pasts, and never judged them for it.

And the appearance of characters from her former novels and seeing how their relationships and lives are going made me so happy and love this book even more!! Maybe it’s acts of service. That could be your love language. Every morning you make sure my coffee is cold, so it doesn’t get watered down when I add ice. I’ve always noticed that. The romance- It was okay. Didn't make me swoon. It was just sweet, the couple had their moments. Whenever the two were apart it made the book boring for me, which is not to say that that was a good thing. Am pretty sure I'll forget about them both soon. How else would you get to live a thousand lives in the span of only one? The beauty of fiction is that it makes you feel things on a visceral level. You can cry with those characters, laugh with them. It teaches you to look at another’s perspective, to have empathy. In nonfiction, you simply learn about something instead of feeling it.” Indy is also an absolute angel. I adore her so much!! She’s such a strong character and she’s literally the definition of sunshine!! And the amazing thing is that being a sunshine character is not her only personality trait!!! Grumpy x sunshine can be ruined so easily but Liz Tomforde just knew how to write it and did definitely not disappoint!!Liz can be found in her hometown of Sonoma County, California, far away from the stresses of work and travel when she is not out on a hike with her Golden Retriever, Luke, or reading. The Right Move Book Summary And if you love forced proximity and/or fake dating, this is your book. Ryan and Indy are roommates who agree to fake date for their own reasons. It'll help Ryan show the team's general manager that he actually has a work/life balance and isn't a recluse, and it'll mean Indy has a date to her friend's wedding where her ex will be at. all in all though, i had a really good time reading it. i loved this book and indyryan and it doesn’t deserve to be slept on at all✨

I never imagined that I’d end up sharing a house with NBA player Ryan Shay, who is the brother of my best friend’s brother. What could be more unbelievable? He envisions me playing the part of his doting girlfriend who is responsible for his miraculous transformation into a lovely guy.so, basically this follows indy (h), she gets cheated on by her longtime boyfriend. devastated and heartbroken, she has nowhere to go so her bestie stevie, who is the twin sister of ryan (H), begs him to let him house her in his apartment for a while. at first he’s like pfft no bitch because a) she had a very bad impression on him the last time they crossed paths and b) he loves being alone and the last thing he’d want is to have a roommate. however, since he also loves his sister to death, he eventually agrees. little did they know, though, how everything would change from there on🤭 The Right Move is the second book in the “Windy City” series and also the most recent installment in the series. This was also just released this year. I will be honest I saw this book everywhere on booktube and bookstagram. And I was so intrigued and the moment that I read “Mile High” I knew why this book was being so raved about. Now The Right Move is about the brother of the heroine in the first book. There was actually a bit of a teaser between Ryan and Indy in the first book, so we got to see their first meeting and it wasn’t the most elegant of meetings but it really sets the stage for this story. I was so curious about Ryan’s book, everyone claims its better than book one, and I have to say I really enjoy these books equally, they are different from each other, so its hard to say if one is better than the other, but I can guarantee that The Right Move will have you falling mad for basketball romance and have you aching for more. To be honest, this is my FIRST basketball romance. This is not a common sport used in sports romances and its a shame because it has so much potential, and you can bet after reading this one I am on the hunt for all the best basketball romances. When she’s not traveling or writing, Liz can be found reading a good book or taking her Golden Retriever, Luke, on a hike in her hometown in Sonoma County, CA. Hi there, I'm Liz! I write Contemporary Romance and my books showcase healthy relationships with leading men you can’t but fall in love with. Expect to find a mix of witty banter, found family moments, and plenty of steam! indy my precious book girlie, you deserve the whole world and nothing less. i love that she is a fun loving girl full of life but also emotional and feels everything on a deep level, but she would cry way too much lmao. but my heart broke for her because of her shitty ex bf and her shitty “friends” but i just love how ryan, stevie, zanders and rio showed her the importance of true friendship. her love for romance books and escaping reality was so relatable lmao. indy had depth and she has the biggest heart and that was what truly made me love her character sm. i loved her acts of bringing ryan out of his shell and living life how he should since he was so sheltered was everything to me she made him trust and feel again!! she deserved to be loved and im so glad ryan was the one to show her how a relationship was supposed to be.
